Introduction

Personal information is all kinds of information that to one extent or another can be attributed to you. When you use our website, we collect and process a number of such information. This happens when adding content, if you register as a member or subscriber, or make a purchase via the website.
We typically collect and process the following types of information: Technical information about your computer, tablet or mobile phone, your IP number, geographic location, and which pages you click on. To the extent that you enter the information yourself, the following is also processed: Name, telephone number, e-mail, address, payment information as well as species and their location. This will typically be in connection with creating a membership, subscription, species list, purchase and login.
When making payments with PayPal, Swish, bank and Vipps MobilePay, information necessary to complete or support the payment will be passed on to PayPal, Swish, bank or Vipps MobilePay, such as the total purchase amount and billing information. If you do not wish to provide the personal data required to purchase a product, you will unfortunately not be able to purchase products from us on our website.
Security
We process your personal data securely and confidentially in accordance with applicable legislation, including the Personal Data Regulation and the Data Protection Act. Your information will only be used for the purpose for which it was collected and will be deleted when this purpose has been fulfilled or is no longer relevant.
Purpose
The information is used to identify you as a user and register your purchases, payments, species and their location, as well as to be able to deliver the services you have requested or paid for. In addition, we use the information to send Killibladet, newsletters and related information.
Period of storage
The information is stored for 12 months after the latest payment expiry, and is then permanently deleted. The purpose of storing the information for 12 months is so that during that period you do not lose your membership number, payment information and information about the species and locations you may have registered yourself. When unsubscribing or canceling a subscription, you can request that the information be permanently deleted immediately. Information about new members is permanently deleted after 90 days if no payment has been registered during the period.
In accordance with the Accounting Act, we must save all accounting documents, and this may contain general personal data such as name, address and service description. We store this information for a minimum of 5 years after the current financial year has ended.
Disclosure of information
Skandinaviska Killisällskapet (SKS) considers it essential for the fulfillment of the company's purpose that members have the opportunity to come into contact with each other. Information about name, address, telephone number, e-mail and reported species will therefore be available to the company's members, via a member and species list located behind the personal member login on the company's website.
Further disclosure of personal data will only take place if required by law or if you consent to it.
We also use Nordicway.dk and Paypal.com as third parties for storing and processing data. They only process information on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.
Your rights
As the registered person, you have a number of rights, which we must ensure fulfillment of at all times. You have the right to request the following from us:

You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data and you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. If you no longer wish for us to process your personal data or for us to limit the processing of your personal data, you can also send us a request to this effect. A restriction on the use of your personal data may result in us not being able to offer the product or service you have requested or paid for.
